PortsMed named Start-up Business of the Year at the Portsmouth Business Awards 2026
PortsMed was awarded Start-up Business of the Year at The News Business Excellence Awards 2026, held at Portsmouth Guildhall on 27 February 2026.

The best and brightest businesses from across Portsmouth gathered at the Guildhall on Friday 27 February 2026 for the 25th annual News Business Excellence Awards. PortsMed was named winner of Start-up Business of the Year - recognition for our first year delivering same-day, affordable private healthcare to the city.
Since opening in North End in May 2025, PortsMed has offered same-day minor illness appointments, on-site blood tests with results in around 30 minutes, ECGs and health checks, all without a GP referral. The award recognises the team's work supporting Portsmouth residents alongside the NHS.
